Iswandy served as a Member of the Legislative Council of Brunei from 2017 to 2022, focusing on youth development and civic engagement. He holds a Master’s in Management and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, along with qualifications in youth development and education. As Stakeholder Relations Officer at Brunei Methanol Company, he led CSR initiatives and community events. He enhanced the Young Southeast Asia Leaders Initiative while working as Alumni Coordinator at the U.S. Embassy. His contributions in the HIV/AIDS sector include serving as Youth LEAD Focal Point and establishing the Life Skills Training program, benefiting over 800 participants. He pioneered the HAPPY program, educating over 10,000 youths and earning numerous awards. Iswandy's international engagements include the One Young World Congress and the Commonwealth Study Conferences. His accolades include the ASEAN Youth Award and the Excellent Service Medal. In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton and video games. Through mentoring, he aims to empower the next generation of leaders and inspire impactful community engagement.
