01 What is BMEN?

Brunei Mentors for Entrepreneurs Network is a voluntary national network that brings together business mentors comprising of successful entrepreneurs, industry experts, professionals and academicians who are willing to share their knowledge, experience, and mentor growing businesses.

02 How does mentoring work in BMEN?

BMEN has a mentoring program that is created based on a mutually agreed arrangement between the mentor and the mentee. It is up to the mentor and mentee to decide how their mentorship will work.

03 Do I have to pay to register?

There is no registration fee and mentorship program conducted by BMEN mentors is on a voluntary basis. No fee is chargeable, however, it is subject to availability of mentors to provide the mentorship.

04 Who can join the network?

Any one who is a successful entrepreneurs, professionals or academic that meets the criteria can join as a mentor and any locally registered business can join as a mentee.

01 Why should I join BMEN as a mentor?

As a mentor you can:

– Strengthen networks with mentors within BMEN.
– Have access to regional/international network partners and resources (e.g. ASEAN Mentorship for Entrepreneurs Network – AMEN).
– Participate in mentor training and development (locally and regionally).
– Invitations to DARe networking events.
– Be recognized for outstanding dedication and commitment towards BMEN mentorship program (through Business Mentor Awards).
– Potential pipelines for further mentoring or coaching beyond voluntary engagement (e.g. paid mentoring/couching services)
– Opportunity for business relationships or partnership with the mentees (e.g. investment, joint venture etc)
– Give back to the community.

02 How often and frequent do I have to meet my mentee?

Its up to both parties to decide as the mentorship is based on a voluntary basis as agreed by both parties.

03 How many people am I expected to mentor?

As becoming a mentoring is done voluntarily there is no limit but we would recommend a maximum of 2 mentees at a time.

04 How do we keep track of the goals and duration of the mentorship?

The mentoring program will help to manage your mentorship.

05 How many mentorships can I run in one go?

There is no limit but we recommend to have 2 mentees at 1 time.

03 How many mentorships can I run in one go?
