Abdul Rahman is a dedicated professional with over 40 years of experience in project management, operations, and business, having retired from a successful career at Brunei LNG. After retirement, Abdul Rahman continued to pursue entrepreneurial ventures, owning multiple businesses including a fast-food outlet, a procurement service, and a Balinese spa, among others. Currently serving as General Secretary of the Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DPPMB) and Vice President of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam, Abdul Rahman is committed to fostering Brunei’s economic growth through youth engagement. Outside of work, Abdul Rahman enjoys exploring new culinary creations, supporting family-led fashion and design projects, and advocating for sustainable business practices. Through mentoring, Abdul Rahman aims to inspire young entrepreneurs to build resilient businesses, drive innovation, and contribute to the local economy. She regularly consults on digital security, digitalization and adapting to cloud operations and uses technology to support regional networks and NGOs in APAC and Europe. Aimi also co-founded www.southeastasiawomen.org and serves as a consultant, advisory board member and mentor for several projects on women's empowerment and digital equity in Asia Pacific. Aimi also serves as Vice President of the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei, Executive Committee member of the Brunei Cyber Security Association and Executive Committee member of the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam.
