A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, England and Wales with 17 years in the United Kingdom in the finance field from 1976 to 1992. Managed a Chartered Accountancy practice and specialized in business development, mergers and acquisitions. Acted in the capacity of a Director in the role of Financial and Business Adviser to a number of SME's and corporate entities. Worked in a number of countries in South East Asia for over 20 years including Malaysia, Indonesia Hong Kong and Brunei in various positions in the field of Finance. Experience was notably in Price Waterhouse in the management consultancy division specializing in mergers, acquisitions, receivership , corporatisation of government departments and managing an oil palm refinery. Had 16 years with G4S, the largest security company in the world in the role of Finance Director, Financial Controller of South East Asia and retiring as the Country Manager for the operations in Brunei. Was acting as the CFO of the International School of Brunei and is Managing Consulting Partner for BizAdvize Services Sdn Bhd ,assisting a number of SMEs and corporate entities on strategic business development, financial and operational management strategy including procurement of resources. Currently also holding directorship and shareholder of - BizAdvize Services Sdn Bhd - Business consultancy and finance outsource entity - BizDigital Sdn Bhd - a social media, marketing and branding entity - BizIT Solutions Sdn Bhd - a software development and automation entity - BizTech Services Sdn Bhd - a sustainable energy consultancy Was an Adjunct Senior Assistant Professor at University Brunei Darussalam between 2018 to 2021. A mentor at BMEN part of DARe and committee member of British Brunei Business Forum and Persatuan warga Negara Malaysia. My hobby is collecting Chinese ceramics, banknotes and coins, Borneo artifacts and postal history.
