Doris Suresh is the founder of Doris Suresh Consulting, a corporate training consultancy based in Brunei. With over 25 years of experience spanning hospitality, corporate training and business operations across the Asia Pacific region, her credentials are earned from the ground up through real work, real teams and real results. Her career includes nearly 11 years at Sheraton Utama Brunei, followed by regional roles with Starwood and Marriott that took her across 36 cities - training over 600 professionals and playing a key role in what became the largest merger in hotel industry history. She received the Marriott Award for Excellence for her contribution to that global project. Along the way, she also turned around a struggling spa business from near-zero growth to 65% revenue increase within two years, and later ran an eco-resort in Temburong as General Manager with a 100% local workforce. What ties all of this together is PEOPLE. Every role she has held, whether managing a sales team, rolling out a regional system, or rebuilding a business from the ground up - has come down to training the right people, setting the right processes and making sure the operation holds together even when things change.
