Lukman Raimi is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Programme Leader at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. He previously served at the American University of Nigeria in several leadership capacities, including Chair of Entrepreneurship and Deputy Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship. His editorial expertise includes serving on the boards of prestigious journals such as the Journal of Developmental Entrepreneurship, Emerging Markets Case Studies, Indonesian Journal of Sustainability Accounting & Management, and the Journal of Green Economy and Low-Carbon Development. Raimi is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business and Economic Analysis. His experience includes peer reviewing for leading journals such as the Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research and the Journal of Business Ethics.

Beyond academia, Dr. Raimi has served as a judge, mentor, consultant, and evaluator for numerous entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem development initiatives across Africa, ASEAN, and North America. His contributions span countries including Nigeria, Morocco, Malaysia, Laos, Ghana, Brunei, and the United States. He has supported startup accelerators, business plan competitions, innovation challenges, entrepreneurship education programmes, and ecosystem-building projects, providing strategic guidance to entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, universities, and development organizations.

His work emphasizes entrepreneurial leadership, ethical business practices, sustainability, innovation management, and corporate social responsibility. Through his extensive international engagements, he has cultivated a broad network of scholars, practitioners, ecosystem builders, and policymakers, enriching both academic discourse and practical interventions to foster entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development across continents.
