I am an engineer by qualification, and am an entrepreneur, a consultant and mentor in business management and occupational safety and health, and a certified trainer. Apart from Brunei, I have worked overseas, namely in the Netherlands, Sultanate of Oman and Malaysia. I have managed organisations and teams of varying numbers, from 10 to 400 people. I have worked in industry sectors from oil and gas operations, managing production operations and maintenance, worked in the services and construction sector, managing safety and health, managing projects and contracts, and facilitating business development. I have conducted and facilitated a numerous training and workshops - safety and health management, strategic planning, project management, business planning and others, and have assessed and audited management systems, analysing findings deriving recommendations for improvement. Throughout my 30 plus years of work experience, I have helped more than 60 companies in Brunei, and several companies overseas, in the improvement programmes of their management systems, organisational structures and compliance to the law and standards.
