Sophiana is the Founder and Consultant of AVisionADay Training Company, Strategic Planning Consultant at EPIPeople Consultants, and Adjunct Senior Assistant Professor at the University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD). She holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kent, an MSc in Computer Studies (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of Essex, and a BSc Honours in Computer Science from Swansea University in the United Kingdom. Sophiana specialises in training professionals from both the government and private sectors in Strategic Planning, Foresight, and Policy Analysis. A member of the Brunei Mentors for Entrepreneurs Network (BMEN), she also serves as a judge and mentor for the Brunei ICT Awards (BICTA) and the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance Awards (APICTA). As a member of the Toastmasters Brunei Advanced Speakers’ Club, Sophiana has represented Brunei in speech contests, securing first-place wins in 2009 and 2019.
