My Name is Arif Asnawi Leong. I am currently the Head of Actuarial for Syarikat Takaful Brunei Darussalam. I have been in the industry for over 8 years and versatile professional and have developed substantial holistic experience in Actuarial, Financial and Investment Management, Management Reporting, Product development & pricing and Strategic Planning. I have qualified as a Fellowship Actuary (FIA) in 2023, making myself the first and only local qualified Actuary in Brunei Darussalam. Actuary is a profession expert in risk assessment, Financial Projection, and Planning. I have founded the Brunei Actuarial Society (BAS) and currently holds the position of President. I will continue to explore areas and ways the actuarial profession can further contribute and play an important role in the industry.
