For 10 years as the Country Manager and Director of G4S Secure Solutions Sdn Bhd where he built up Brunei's leading man security and cash management services provider and Brunei first secure storage facility. He also completed a 3 year contract to lead the Finance and Admin team of the International School Brunei in his role as CFO and undertook the project management of the finance and construction of the new school buildings. He also worked in collaboration with the BEDB in relation to Management Consultancy for iCenter and Ministry of Industries and Primary to provide financial advisory services, training and mentorship to SMEs, start- ups and Cooperatives. Prior to coming to Brunei, he was a Director and Senior Circular Economy Advisor at KPMG and Professor of Regenerative Planning and Circular Economy at Kyushu University in Japan. With over 30 years of diverse international business experience. Prof Valentine provides strategic project advice related to circular economy work to governments and business leaders around the world. He has led major research projects in Denmark and Holland around the circular economy with an emphasis on corporate strategy and public policy design and implementation. He represents Standards Australia on international development of an ISO standard for the Circular Economy and is the Chair of the Australian Circular Economy Hub’s advisory board.
Currently working under Petroleum Authority in establishing digital regulatory management solutions and enabling Brunei Oil & Gas Industry to adapt new technologies & solutions to effectively and sustainably manage hydrocarbon resources in the country. Until recently, I was a regulatory lead of a few blocks and promoting open blocks for bidding rounds on top of being the Lead Geophysicist and a senior member of Upstream Department with responsibility to establish a working Geophysical service, develop guidelines & help steer overall Brunei E&P strategic direction. A veteran with 27 years in depth experience in Oil in Gas industry in terms of Upstream Business including opportunity evaluations as well as business operations. Experience includes managing the business of 3, including 1 operating onshore blocks in Central Myanmar basin. He established an operational team in Yangon as well as supports from Brunei. The team completed a regional G&G Study in 2016 and also an onshore 2D seismic in 2017 for the operating block.

Her career transitioned from a Human Resources role, where she also managed marketing responsibilities and corporate relations. She brings over a decade of experience to her current position.

He has held supervisory and managerial positions in maintenance and production operations, turnaround (shutdown) management, offshore construction, contracts management and health, safety and environmental (HSE) management; managing teams ranging from project teams, departmental and combined groups up to 500 people.
